The Volkswagen Touareg has been around for a while now and is all set to move into its next generation at the upcoming 2017 LA Motor Show. Ahead of its debut, the new generation Volkswagen Touareg was caught testing in China barring any camouflage. The all-new Touareg looks sharper in the new spy images, and borrows from the larger Volkswagen Atlas.
The 2018 Toyota Rush was recently unveiled in Indonesia. It is compact SUV and a rebadged version of the Daihatsu Terios. The Rush SUV gets a bunch of updates for 2018 but there is no confirmation on whether it will be launched in India or not. Toyota could definitely do with a compact SUV in India.
The Mahindra XUV500 is expected to get a petrol derivative in India soon, but before that, the model has made its way to the UAE. The petrol powered XUV500 has been unveiled in the Gulf country and has been listed on the company's website as well. The XUV petrol is priced at 74,900 Dirhams (around Rs. 13.24 lakh) and will be available with an automatic transmission only. In India, the XUV500 is available only with a diesel heart.
The next-generation Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV was spotted again and this time the spy images also give us a sneak-peek at the cabin of the SUV. The new G-Class will be unveiled in January, at the upcoming 2018 North American International Auto Show, in Detroit USA.
Before it comes to India next year, Volvo will finally give the XC40 its global debut at the upcoming LA Auto Show, to take place at the end of the month.
The NX 300h hybrid is the company's fourth offering in India and in fact the third hybrid car to join the product portfolio, while also being the most affordable model on offer from the Japanese premium car-makers.
The Lexus NX300h is a direct rival to the locally assembled Mercedes GLA and the Audi Q3, but thanks to high import duties, it will be priced way above the competition.
