The EICMA 2021 show looks set for some exciting new motorcycle reveals in November 2021, as Suzuki joins a growing list of motorcycle brands to confirm participation at the world's most popular motorcycle trade show. The EICMA 2021 show is scheduled to take place in Milan from November 25 to November 28, 2021, after the event was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Suzuki's confirmation at the 78th edition of the EICMA show comes after several other brands have confirmed participation, including Honda, Yamaha, Benelli, MV Agusta and Royal Enfield.

"Suzuki sees EICMA as an extraordinary showcase for the entire motorcycle sector. The Milanese event puts motorised two-wheelers in the right light, which today more than ever represent the right ally to tackle the issue of individual transport in an effective and safe way. Motorcycles and scooters offer emotions and a lot of freedom in the most adventurous raids as well as in small daily trips and are a perfect example of sustainable mobility," said Paolo Ilariuzzi, Director of the Suzuki Italia Motorcycle and Marine division.

Indian brands like Royal Enfield and Hero MotoCorp have also been regular participants at recent editions of the EICMA show.

Suzuki will have two different exhibition areas at the 2021 EICMA show. Inside the exhibition halls, Suzuki will set up a stand that will allow the public to safely admire the new models of the 2022 range. Visitors will be able to get to know the new models through the use of digital media, and interested customers can also directly book a motorcycle from the event, through the Suzuki Smart Buy platform. Outdoors, Suzuki will also have a structure dedicated to demo rides, where it will be possible to have a small test run within the exhibition centre of the most recent models of the brand's motorcycle range.

Traditionally, motorcycle brands unveil their very special products of the year at the EICMA show every year
Suzuki showcased the new Katana at the EICMA 2018, and then the Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT at the 2019 edition. While the EICMA 2020 was cancelled, Suzuki unveiled an updated Hayabusa in early 2021, followed by a revised Suzuki GSX-S1000 in April 2021. Traditionally, most two-wheeler brands reserve their most interesting reveals for the EICMA show in November. But this year's event will not have BMW Motorrad participating. The German brand has decided not to participate in any motorcycle trade shows in the years to come, and will instead organise its own exhibition events, both online and physical.
