Strom Motors is now set to unveil its new electric car this week on April 8. The new Strom R3 is a small, three-wheeled, compact electric vehicle that comes in a reverse trike configuration. The Strom R3 will be offered in three variants - R3 Pure, R3 Current and R3 Bolt and a range of up to 120 km.
It would take around 15 months to retool the company's plant in Cologne but said it would not be worth the investment if sales of electric cars reached only 30,000 or 40,000 vehicles a year.
