Tata Motors has showcased the Nexon subcompact SUV with an automated manual transmission (AMT) at the Auto Expo 2018. The SUV was launched last year, and is currently available only with a manual transmission on either engines. The AMT unit will be offered on both the 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and the all-new 1.5-litre naturally aspirated diesel, and will be launched sometime later this year.
Visually both the Tata Tiago and the Tigor EV look similar to their standard hatchback and subcompact sedan version. However, both see the addition of blue decals and of course an EV badging on the front grille.
Yamaha Motor India has showcased the 2018 MT-09 naked motorcycle at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018. The updated Yamaha MT-09 was launched in the country at a price of Rs. 10,88 lakh (ex-showroom) in November last year and makes its public debut at the Expo. Interestingly, the middleweight streetfighter was launched at the 2016 Auto Expo.

Piaggio has recently unveiled the Vespa Elettrica electric scooter concept at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018. Powered by a 4.2 kWh Lithium-ion battery that offers a maximum power of 4 kWh (5.4 bhp) and develops 200 Nm of peak torque. It is expected to go on sale in Europe sometime in 2018.
Honda 2 Wheelers has also showcased its new Honda PCX electric scooter at the ongoing Auto Expo 2018. The new electric scooter concept comes fitted with a removable lithium-ion battery, which the company calls, Honda Mobile Power Pack.
