Faraday Future, which has been quite a secretive electric car startup is gearing up for a big reveal next week at CES, the annual technology conference in Las Vegas. This is their first vehicle and their target is a big one too - Tesla.
Faraday Future revealed a portion of the car in a teaser video and we only get to see the front wheel of the vehicle as it darts across an empty track. This of course is more than we've ever seen of the car. But it has to be noted, that this car will not see the light of production as the company has already said that the first production car to come out of its stable will be in 2020.
The car that will be showcased at CES will only showcase the company's engineering platform. In the new teaser video the company gives vague hints of what, exactly, that car might look like. The video asks "What if the back seat was the new front seat?", "What if you didn't so much own a car, as use one when you need it?" so clearly we don't know what to expect from a car standpoint.
Faraday Future has been clear that this is a concept not the final product, so we can ascertain with some amount of experience that all the ideas put in this one will not exactly be practical. In fact, considering that it's a concept, we are sure to see some outrageous future technology to make its way inside this car. But we'll wait to see what Faraday Future has to offer.
